Welcome AWANA families 2025-2026
April 8th THEME: Super Hero Night
April 10th: Awana Grand Prix
April 15th THEME: Help the Homeless Night
*****ATTN Parents*****
Here are some important dates to note for the final half of the Awana season.
Awana Grand Prix
All Grand Prix cars must be inspected and registered no later than our club night on April 8th.
We will inspect your car and register your car for the race. You have the option to allow the pit crew to add weight
if desired or leave your car as is. You have the option to leave your car secured at church, or you can bring your car
home with you and bring it back on race night if you would like to do any modifications to your car. If you bring your
car home with you, please have your car back on race night no later than 5:00 pm so we can make modifications/final
checks prior to race time. Any cars not entered/registered by April 8th will not be eligible to race or for the design
competition on April 10th. We have this deadline because there are too many cars to enter on race night and registration
and tournament bracketing takes too long to complete and leads to significant delays on race night.
This will help our race night run much more smoothly. It will help make the night more enjoyable for all.
*April 10th Awana Grand Prix night. Doors will open at 4:30 pm. Opening ceremony will begin at 5:15 pm.
Races will begin at 5:30 pm. We will have awards for car design and we will give out prizes for race winners.
We will have door prizes and other fun prizes to win.
We will provide hot dogs, chips, and a cookie.
April 15 Help the Homeless Night. Please bring in food items for our food shelf and/or personal hygiene items (Soap, shampoo, deodorant, tooth brushes/toothpaste) we will donate the items to homeless youth in the area.
*May 6 Awards night. Awards night will begin at 6:00 pm. This will be our final club night for the 2025/2026 Awana season.
We will have our awards night for the year. We will celebrate all the Awana clubber's achievements.
*****ATTN PARENTS*****
Please follow the 2025-2026 Handbook schedule in the back of your parent handbook for the lesson for the week.
Please focus on the lesson plan in your parent handbook with your child at home. The main goal is to help the children
memorize the verses in their mind, then teach them what those verses mean and
how to apply them to life. The goal is to allow the word to make it from their mind to their heart.
Rather than rush through the book, we ask you have your child/children complete
the extra credit portion of their book. For deeper study please go to the word with them and help them to understand
the deeper context of the verse. We understand that children learn at a different pace.
If your child/children are going to complete more than one section in their book, we
will ask them what the verse means before signing them off for multiple sections. We appreciate all you do
to help your child grow in knowledge and wisdom in God's word. Keep up the good work. All honor, glory be to God!

Ages 4-5 (This program is only available to children of AWANA volunteers and Grace Church attenders.) This two-year preschool ministry curriculum features exciting games, storytelling, puppet shows, and biblical teaching as well as take-home activities and tools. |
|
Kindergarten - Grade 2 Sparks® ignites the curiosity of early elementary-age kids to learn about the people and events of the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ. |
|
Grade 3 - Grade 6 T&T® explores the concept of grace by focusing on the character and nature of God, identity of Christ, as well as the structure and format of the Bible. This four-year upper elementary school ministry curriculum is created to ensure that kids and leaders connect through God's Word. |
Club dues will be $20 per child. This fee will cover the child's handbook and activities during the year. It can be paid by cash or check on a club night. Sparks/Cubbies vests ($15) and T&T Jerseys ($20) can be purchased separately at a club night. Each clubber is required to have a handbook and club shirt (vest or jersey).
